Explore the crocodile farm

The origin of this extraordinary idea came from a reptile enthusiast, Luc Fougeirol who, in 1991, brought several hundred crocodiles from Nil with the motto: “make known to better understand and protect” !

Visit Crocodile Farm

The visit to the crocodile farm consists of several areas: animal park, indoor and outdoor playground for children, fast food. Before entering the greenhouse, two crocodiles may challenge you with their colour… they are all white! How fortunate, there are only about twenty of them in the world. They are Alligators from Mississippi Albinos, their fragility does not allow them to be under the main greenhouse with their congeners.

The tropical effect feel as soon as you walk through the front door of the greenhouse : heat, scents, waterfall, exotic plants, beaches with turbid waters… One is very quickly impressed by the number of crocodiles, there are them everywhere ! They move and swim under our feet, some with their mouths open, they fascinate us… A little selfish?! All along the way there are very clear and playful explanations explanations for children (and adults) : we learn about the different species but also about their functioning, how long they sleep, their reproduction, the quantity of food, what they need…

The crocodile meal is served on Sunday at 3pm around the pools. For assist in feeding crocodiles and other reptiles or birds refer to the animation pages of official Crocodile farm website

News: Python Island. In this space you can admire pythons that can be up to 6 meters long, including the crosslinked python the largest snake in Southeast Asia. An animation is organized to get close to the pythons every Saturday and Sunday at 14h30. Thrills guaranteed!

• The park is fully passable with the stroller.

The Botanical Garden: a lush tropical environment

Classified botanical garden, the Farm is also famous for its plant species. More than 600 species of exotic plants grow under the huge greenhouse, including banana trees, papaya trees, carnivorous plants, giant water lilies: an exceptional collection in Europe. The farm organizes activities based on the discovery of plants.

La Ferme aux crocodiles: a reference in research and conservation of rare species

Other than its tourist aspect, the crocodile farm is a real research centre where rare species are protected : a reference for scientists all over the world ! The arrival of some fragile animals, such as albino alligators, or threatened with extinction such as Philippine crocodiles, is an international recognition of the commitment and quality of the work carried out by this structure.
