Pass the Col Saint-Jean and head for the Vallée du Buech, where you'll pass along the gorges de la Méouge, classified as a Natura 2000 biological reserve.
Don't forget to stop off at Orpierre, where you can see the remains of medieval ramparts and wander among the many covered passages and drailles.
