L’étang Saint-Louis

Pass the town hall. At the grocery store, turn left under the porch, turn right and drive around the castle mound (access to the castle ruins via secure footbridges). Continue straight on past the Sainte-Croix church. Turn right on the D341, cross the bridge over the Lez and turn right on the D117 for 100m. Turn left onto the Chemin de Curnier. It becomes a footpath. Follow the Sérigoux asphalt road to the left, then the Serre-Blanc road. At the end, continue straight ahead through lavender fields. Take the perpendicular path on the left. It weaves its way between fence and grove. Cross the road and take the path opposite. Follow the wood for 250m, fork right and turn left (follow the signs). Cross the D341 and continue straight ahead on Chemin de l'Etang. At the bend, continue on the track for 350m to a fork on the right.
>Variant (9.5km circuit) go straight on.
Follow the track to the right. It meanders through the woods and laces up. In the loop, leave the track for the path on the left. Turn left on the track between woods and vineyards towards Etang Saint-Louis.
>The path on the right takes you around the wetland (a popular but unmarked route).
Continue along the track that runs alongside the wetland. Pass the quarries and reach a crossroads. Continue along the track, then take the chemin (road) des Etangs opposite. Cross the D117 and continue along the Chemin de la Magnanerie. At the crossroads, turn left. Cross the footbridge over the Lez and go around the buildings to the left. Take the D141 left for 50m, the Chemin (road) des Chênes right for 250m, then the grassy Chemin des Tulettes left. Take the road to the left and, at the traffic circle, the D341 to the right to find the parking lot.
