This is a nice loop with a substantial difference in altitude but no technical difficulties. After starting out on the road, you'll reach a single-track path in the forest, which you'll follow for most of the way.

Your efforts on the steep slopes will be rewarded with a restart on the heights of the Monts d'Autuche and an equally pleasant descent, interspersed with a few sections of track to reach the lanes of Les Pilles.
