De l’Eygues au Bentrix

This easy loop for road bikers links the valleys of the Eygues and Bentrix rivers, via a series of small roads that ensure a peaceful and relaxing pedaling experience.

Description

From the village of Les Pilles, the route begins on the left bank of the Eygues ("water" in Provençal), leading gently to the village of Curnier along a small, peaceful riverside road. After a short stretch on the RD 94, you begin the climb to the Eyroles plateau along a road lined with olive trees. Once you've reached the Col d'Eyroles, you'll switch to the Bentrix valley.
Bentrix valley and, a few pretty downhill laces later, you'll arrive at the small village of Saint-Ferréol-Trente-Pas. To complete your tour, take the road along the Bentrix to its point of confl uence with the Eygues, two wheel turns from your starting point.
