Les bornes papales

Go down rue Reynarde to the crossroads (Croix de Mission). Turn right, following the Tennis arrow. After crossing the bridge over the "rieu" stream, continue straight ahead (do not go towards the tennis court), turning right 50 m further on. Good climb through vineyards (towards Gîtes de la Crose).
Crossroads: take asphalt road.
This road soon descends to cross a stream, then rises again, turning after a farm. Further on, turn right, then left.
Head west, then fork right at a large farm (la Delille). From here, the road soon becomes tarmac and joins the D90.
Turn left (100m), then left again: a short detour along a path running parallel to the road. When you reach the road again, cross it, turn left and walk along the vineyard: return south for 200m, then take the path to the Papal milestones. After a 30-minute walk, you'll enjoy panoramic views of Valréas, La Lance, Garde Grosse, the Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail.
After a short descent, the Chemin des bornes papales leads to a small tarmac road. Continue for about 100m and turn right. This brings you to the D619. Turn right for about 1km, then left towards "la Bicarelle".
After 500-600m, turn left, then continue along this path on the right-hand side of the hill for 5-10 minutes, then leave it and turn left. Follow the signposts: the route continues roughly southwards, then descends to the bottom of the ravine, passing near dwellings before coming to a small road. Follow it to the right as far as the village (3 km).
