Description

The Distillerie Bleu Provence is a family business, bought by Christine and Philippe Soguel in 1994. Wishing to keep alive this industrial heritage of Nyons and to make it part of the modern world, the company is committed to innovation so that the tradition of growing and distilling lavender and aromatic plants in the Drôme Provençale will continue.
It has four main activities:
the distillation of plants grown by local producers
the marketing of essential oils for professionals (laboratories, perfumers)
the sale of essential oils and cosmetic products to the general public
tourism with conferences and workshops.
After a major renovation in 2000, the Distillerie is writing a new page in its history in 2011. The production tool has been modernised (new distillation process) and compatible with the latest generation of harvesting machine, the ESPIEUR.
A discovery area on lavender and aromatic plants and a place to relax called the Pause Bleu Thé have been created. The shop, meanwhile, has been renovated and enlarged. Thus the Distillerie Bleu Provence can welcome in optimal conditions, all the lovers of plants and perfumes of Provence.
