Surrounded by greenery and hills, the 150 inhabitants are proud of the peace and tranquility of their commune, which covers 957 hectares, 658 of which are wooded. Hiking trails take you from 176 meters to 381 meters above sea level.
Description
Condillac is hidden from view between the wooded hills bordering the River Leyne.
Nature-lovers may come across a few deer on their strolls, unless they happen to come across a viewpoint where they can discover the château. This imposing 15th-century structure follows on from a 10th-century edifice. Together with the surrounding fortified village, the site is private and not open to visitors. Only the church is communal and therefore accessible to the public.
