The old village of Sahune is filled with ruins and old buildings that have been abandoned since the 19th century. It is now a ideal place for walks and part of our cultural and natural heritage.
Description
"When I embarked on this trail, I found myself in communion with nature. The enhancement of nature blends perfectly with the desire to restore and revitalize the village. The highlight of the walk was the panoramic view over the Eygues valley, which I was able to enjoy from the top of the cliffs. A trail I'd recommend for a family outing."
Hugo COLIN, intern at Pnr des Baronnies provençales
From the Vieux Sahune parking lot, follow the castle ascent until you reach the Porte de Curnier.
1- Follow the asphalt road to the right. After passing the church, go alongside the château and the orchards.
2- At the château entrance, take the dirt track opposite before reaching a DFCI track. Follow this to the right to reach the viewpoint at the bend.
3- Take the botanical path slightly to the right. Go back down towards the rise of the château, always keeping to the left. Once on the road, return to the parking lot on the left.
