Randonnée en itinérance – Plaisians

1

Between small perched villages and local flora, come and discover the atmosphere of the southern Baronnies, all under the benevolent eye of Mont-Ventoux.

Description

"Straddling the Drôme and Vaucluse departments, this two-day tour is the perfect place to discover the magnificent landscapes shared by the Parc naturel régional des Baronnies provençales and the Parc régional du Mont Ventoux. Wandering through the narrow streets of the villages of Brantes, Savoillan and Poët-en-Percip is a real feast for the eyes. The scent of the local flora, meanwhile, allows you to soak up the Provencal atmosphere.

Léo MICHELET, intern at the Pnr des Baronnies provençales.

The first stage, from Plaisians to Vergol, follows the GRP Tour des Baronnies provençales. It begins with a relatively flat section to the village of Brantes, then climbs the Rocher du Charles ridge, descends to the village of Savoillan and finishes with a climb to the Vergol gîte.

The second stage continues on the GRP up to the Col de la Bohémienne. The path then follows the GR 91 over the Col de la Jas and Col de Geine. It continues quietly along the GR 9 to the Col de Font-Combran and returns to the starting point.
